Q: How do you Calculate Fare Estimate for Taxi Cab, Sedan, Mini Van or SUV?

 

Understanding Fare

We use Google Maps to Calculate Distance and Travel Time. Google Tweaks its API’s Time to Time and it changes the Distance Calculated between 2 Points. Actual Travel Distance might be different than these Calculations. Sometime, Our Online Calculator does not Calculate Fare Correct because of Route Planning and Road Conditions. We reserve the Right to Fix those errors manually and send you revised estimate before service.

Standard Highway Rate $2.50 Per Mile / Local Routes – Non Highway Travel $3.50 Per Mile. Minimum Fare for Any Selected Vehicle would be Added to Calculated Fare for Given Distance. Taxi Service is not available 24X7 in some areas. Dispatcher Will inform you well in time, if situation arises. You might have to upgrade your vehicle selection for Prompt and Timely Service.

Special Price Offers / Discounted Fare Terms

Any Special Price Offer or Transportation Deal is strictly for Point to Point Transfer, It does not include any Extra Stops or Waiting Time. Waiting Time would be charged at the rate of $1.00 per minute or $50.00 per hour for each Taxi/Mini Van/Sedan/SUV or $85 for 10 / 14 Passenger Van or $150 for 56 Passenger Bus. Extra Stops would be Billed at Regular Price, which is not less than $20 for Each Stop. 

Night surcharge of $5.00 after 8:00 PM & before 6:00 AM

Peak hour Weekday Surcharge of $5.00 Monday - Friday Between 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

 

Flat Fare for trips between Inner Harbor and BWI Airport, is $35.00.

If passengers request multiple stops, the flat rate of $35.00 will be collected at the first stop in either Inner Harbor or BWI, and Flat Rate of $20 for Each Additional Stop.

 

Tolls

On all trips within Baltimore City, any bridge and tunnel tolls to the destination shall be paid by the passenger. On all trips Outside Baltimore City, return tolls shall be charged.

 

Luggage

For Excessive Amount of Luggage Four (4) Bags (40Lbs to 50 Lbs) for Sedan and Six (6) Bags for VAN or SUV, There shall be a Flat charge of $25 for Handling of Excessive luggage.

 

Vehicles

AVAL has rights to Upgrade any Transportation Request for Free to Accommodate our drivers / Passengers and prompt service. If you need only specific Vehicle, Please Call Dispatch and mention “Send Only Requested Vehicle” e.g., You Requested for Taxi / Car but We have Mini Van Available at that time, We will upgrade you to mini Van without any additional charges. Or You Requested for Executive Sedan (Lincoln Town Car / Cadillac Black Sedan / Toyota Camry). If Sedan is not available we Will upgrade your Ride to Executive SUV for Free (Toyota Highlander or Honda Pilot or Lincoln Navigator)

 

 

 

Weekend Night Reservations

AVAL or its drivers have full right to Cancel Any Return Trip Transfer Reservation due to following reasons without any prior notice. 

a). Trip is not Prepaid for Full Two Way Transfer Service in Advance and Passenger(s) Refused to Pay Full Return Trip Two way Transfer Price on First Drop Off. i.e., Passenger Pays for One Way Transfer and Promises to make Rest of the Payment on Return Trip. 
b). Passengers are too much drunk and shows violent verbal or physical behavior. 
c). If Driver has another Hourly reservation between Two Assigned Transfers and third Party extends there service hours Or any other situation beyond human control.

 

 

 


Q: What if we can't find our driver at pick up location?

Please call our office (443) 505-1196 before you decide to leave.


Q: What method of payment do you accept? and When do I pay for the service?

We accept all major credit card, casher check, travel check and cash as payment.

We offer three convenient options for making a payment:
First you can make payment over the phone using any major credit card.
Second you can do it using our e-mail/Fax order Form.
The third you can pay cash / Credit directly to AVAL driver

(we need your credit card when you make your reservation to reserve your car).


Q: How long in advance I need to reserve?

For AVAL service morning pick up time from 12:01AM-10:00AM have to be reserved a day during normal call center business hours (6:00AM - 10:00PM).

All other pickups requires at least least 2 hours in advance reservation.

Rush Pickups are available for Baltimore Downtown / County Area on 15-40 Minutes Notice depending upon availability.


Q: How many bags can we put in the vehicles?

Q: Is smoking allowed in your vehicles?

No, Smoking is not allowed. However, our chauffeurs will gladly stop as frequently as guests request to make it possibly for you to enjoy a smoke outside.


Q: What are BWI Transportation Cancellation / Modification Policy for AVAL services?

Taxi: 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time.
 
Town Cars / SUV / Mini Van: 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
 
14P - Coach: 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time during Weekdays, Holidays and Weekend bookings needs to be cancelled 3 Days in Advance.
 
* Early Morning and Late Night Pickup (11:00 PM - 6:00 AM) requires Cancellation before 10:00 PM.

Q: What do I do if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

We use the state of art technology to monitor your flight for last minuet of arrival. But if you decide to take early or later flight please call us to up date your info.(no show will be bill for full fare ).


Q: What are your Terms / Policies?

AVAL Policies and Terms

By placing a reservation with AVAL you acknowledge and expressly agree to the following policies, terms and conditions and further expressly authorize AVAL to charge your credit card in full for all charges relating to your reservation, including, but not limited to, charging your credit card in full for the reservation should you be considered a no-show. Service is deemed rendered, whether you enter the vehicle or not, when the cancellation period cut-off time is reached.

  • Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation occurs less than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time, full fare will be charged to the client, early hour pick up (12:01 AM-8:00 AM) requires a cancellation night before. Cancellation fees are waived for emergencies.
  • No Show Policy: No show / Service Not Used reservations will be charged at the full trip price plus any waiting time.
  • Termination of Reservation Policy: AVAL reserves the right to terminate any reservation at any time in the best interest of customer safety, driver safety, vehicle safety, and federal/state/local laws.
  • Vehicle Damage/Cleaning Policy: The Party paying for the Reservation is responsible for all damages and/or cleaning charges incurred by the renter and/or Party of the Renter, including but not limited to: Vomit/Sickness ($150 Cleaning Fee), Alcohol Spillage ($100, Cleaning Fee), Broken Glassware ($30, Replacement Set), Burns ($500 Replacement/Repair), Upholstery Tears ($500 Replacement/Repair) and/or Opening a Car Door into another Vehicle or Stationary Object ($?) etc.
  • Hourly Service Rate: Hourly Town Car / SUV service is charged at $65 per hour.
  • Hourly Service Rate: Hourly 15P - Coach  is charged at $78 per hour.

  • Alcohol: All alcohol must be provided by the passengers. All passengers must be 21 years of age and have valid state issued ID to consume alcohol in our vehicles.
  • Lost or Damaged Items: AVAL and its Affiliates are not responsible for items that are left in the vehicle, lost or damaged. AVAL reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found. AVAL, Affiliates and their Chauffeurs will assist with luggage at a client's request, but assume no liability for doing so.
  • Payment Method: We offer competitive rates; we accept all major credit cards, travelers' checks, cashiers checks, cash, and service corporate accounts.
  • Privacy Policy: AVAL and its Affiliates' do not sell, rent or disseminate your personal and financial information to any outside third parties. AVAL and it's Affiliates reserves the right to use the information supplied to provide requested services and collect payment for services rendered in accordance with our rates, terms and policies.
  • Smoking: There is no smoking in our cars. Anyone who smokes will be asked to extinguish the cigar/cigarette.

Additional Charges may be added to your fare based upon your selections:-

1). Meet N Greet Service: Add $35 to Estimated Fare.

2). Child Seat: A Car seat / Booster Seat is available upon request and selection would add $15 to Estimated Fare.

3). Early Morning and Late Night Pickups (11:01 PM - 05:59 AM) are subject to Additional Fee of $5.

4). Actual Charges for cell phone usage, extra stops, special parking and toll fees would be added to Estimated Fare.

5). Special Event / Holliday Surcharge of 25% will be added to reservations on New Years Day, Memorial Day, The Preakness, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

6).  Snow Emergency Surcharge: 25% Surcharge for all services during a declared snow emergency.

7). Dead Head Miles: Minimum charge would be based on distance from Downtown to your pickup address, If Distance between pickup and drop-off address is shorter than Distance between Baltimore Inner Harbor to Pickup Address.

8). There is a 15 minutes grace periods for all Trips after the scheduled pickup time. 30 Minutes Grace Period If you have selected the Meet N Greet Service. We monitor the status of all commercial flights Once the grace period has elapsed additional fees are charged at the rate of $1.00 per minute or $50.00 per hour.

9). We do not charge any service charges to Cash/Credit Card Payments. 15% Service Charge is added if you paid over the phone. (i.e., Credit / Debit Card is not present at the time of Service. or Third Party is paying for your Trip.)

 


Q: Can we rent a Taxi / Limo for 1 hour?

Yes, You can rent the Taxi for as many number of hours as much you want!

But minimum rental time for limo is 4 hours, unless you just need pickup and drop-off. Point to Point Rate as per Mileage calculator and standard Wait time Applies.


Q: What are Special Terms for Non Airport Rides / Night Transfer Trips?

BWI Airport Transportation (AVAL)  or its drivers have full right to Cancel Any Return Trip Transfer Reservation due to following reasons without any prior notice.

d). Hourly Bookings have priority over transfer Services. If AVAL can not provide 14P-Club Van for Transfer, AVAL will try its best to provide alternative transportation in the same price.
e). 14P - Club Vans and 56P - Bus availability is guaranteed for Hourly bookings only.
